What advice would you give to your teenage self?
Not lie to your self, trust worthy, love others as you do to yourself, before you speak, think,..
Hello, this is CHARLES ZUZE . . Trust is the foundation of any healthy and satisfying relationship, whether it’s personal or professional. Trust can be built, broken, and rebuilt over time, depending on the actions and intentions of the people involved. Here are some general tips on how to gain trust from others1:
Be honest and transparent. Don’t lie, hide, or manipulate information or people. Share your thoughts and feelings openly and respectfully. Admit your mistakes and apologize when you’re wrong.
Be consistent and reliable. Do what you say you will do and follow through on your commitments. Show up on time and be prepared. Don’t make promises you can’t keep or change your mind without a good reason.
Be respectful and supportive. Treat others with kindness and dignity. Listen to their needs and concerns and show empathy. Give constructive feedback and praise. Help them achieve their goals and solve their problems.
Be open and vulnerable. Don’t be afraid to share your weaknesses and fears. Ask for help and advice when you need it. Show interest and curiosity in others and their lives. Learn from their experiences and perspectives.
These are some of the ways you can gain trust from others, but remember that trust is not something you can demand or expect. It is something you have to earn and maintain by your actions and words. Trust also takes time to develop and can vary depending on the situation and the person. You may have to adjust your approach and expectations accordingly.
