A Message From Our Team
Counseling in the Streets



Hello my friends! I’m Shaulee Curtis, the Wellness Director here at Interweave Solutions. I’m so excited to be able to tell you a little bit about what is going on with “Counseling in the Streets.”



Counseling in the Streets (CIS) was created in the midst of the Covid pandemic in 2020. Lynn Curtis (Co-founder of Interweave Solutions), two of his daughters – Kristee Barker and Kim Anderson along with myself – all joined together in an effort to provide mental health support to anyone and everyone who needs it throughout the world. We found that people everywhere are struggling with their mental health as well as regular life challenges. Sadly, mental health services are lacking. Kristee, Kim and I are all mental health counselors. Working together with Lynn, we developed this program which includes all of our best counseling practices, strategies as well as meaningful discussion points and topics which help promote mental health support, growth and healing. The program is meant to be done in a group setting, with friends, co-workers and/or family members.




CIS was officially added to Interweave’s courses a little over 6 months ago. Within the past 3 years, and especially in the last 6 months, we have seen amazing growth with this program, reaching thousands of people all over the world! We also have this program for various age levels – Adults, High Schoolers (ages 14-18), Middle School (ages 11-13), and children (ages 5-10).






Most recently, I was able to travel to Arizona, USA and train 60+ educators and college students to become “Counseling in the Streets Wellness Facilitators.” Each of these new Wellness Facilitators are now implementing the program in their schools and organizations where they provide much needed support to their students and people with whom they work. Additionally, I also provided training for 50+ high school students to become “Certified Peer Counselors.” These youth are now actively providing support in their schools and communities to help their peers who are struggling. It’s incredible to see how these Peer Counselors and Wellness Facilitators are making such a difference in their communities!



We are also so excited about our wellness courses that we have been teaching to the amazing people of Ghana! We have had over 40 Wellness Facilitator Graduates this year! More classes are currently running and others will be starting up soon! Ghana is on fire with enthusiasm as they help their friends and neighbors. We’ve had several teachers take this program back to their schools and utilize it with their students. In Nigeria, we’ve also seen amazing success! Most recently, I learned that Exodus was able to introduce over 100 Officers and staff of the Nigeria Correction Service to the CIS course! Keep up the great work my friends!!






Our monthly wellness classes for Wellness Facilitator graduates and Success Ambassadors have been incredible! Seriously – I LOVE spending time with all of you who have participated in these classes! We have an English Wellness class as well as a Spanish Wellness class for those in Central and South America. We always have very impactful discussions in these groups and I leave them feeling inspired and so grateful for all of the good you are doing in the world!


Additionally, Cade, Diego and I will be heading to Ecuador, Colombia and Panama soon to meet with Wellness Facilitators, their groups, students and schools. We can’t wait!!



Lastly, I want to mention that we will be having a “Wellness Section” each month in our newsletter. I hope to include wellness tips and uplifting ideas to help ourselves and others as we continue to move from poverty to prosperity in both our physical and emotional self-reliance quests. I would also love to hear any success stories from your experiences with the wellness program, which I will include in the newsletter. So, please share your stories with us!

Empathy



Empathy is the ability to share and understand the feelings of another.


The following are Empathy Busters. This is what not to do if you are trying to show empathy.

(You can find this on p. 7 of the wellness manual)

Solving the Problem – “I can fix that.” I’ll talk to her for you.” Don’t rush into solve the problem for another person. This often makes the person feel like their feelings are being dismissed and you feel they can’t handle it. Instead, encourage them. Show support. Let them know that you believe in them.

Unsolicited Advice – “If I were you . . . .” “I think you should . . .” Offering advice is not usually helpful or welcomed. Instead, wait until they ask you for your advice. Express empathy and actively listen. Just be there.

Dismissing Feelings – “You shouldn’t feel that way.” “That’s no reason to be upset.” This makes it seem as though the person is wrong for feeling a certain way. Feelings aren’t right or wrong – they just are.



So, here’s a challenge for you: Think of a disagreement that you’ve had recently. Try to look at that situation from the other person’s perspective. Use empathy. What were they experiencing? How did they feel? Try to experience empathy and really try to feel and understand what it’s like for that other person!

Here are some key points about profit:

Types of Profit:
Gross Profit: This is calculated as total revenue minus the cost of goods sold (COGS). It represents the basic profitability of a business before considering other expenses.
Operating Profit: Also known as earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT), operating profit removes operating expenses (like overhead) and accounting costs (such as depreciation and amortization) from gross profit.

ناس (nas) means folk, people, or mankind. It is also the name of the last chapter of the Qur’an, which is a short invocation seeking refuge in the Lord of mankind 1. This chapter is known as Surah An-Nas (سورة الناس) and consists of six verses. Here is the translation of Surah An-Nas:
“Say, ‘I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,
The Sovereign of mankind,
The God of mankind,
From the evil of the retreating whisperer –
Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind –
From among the jinn and mankind.’” 2

A Message From Our Team


The Mission of Interweave Goes to Where You Are


As Portuguese Language Director here at Interweave Solutions, my goal is to promote the MBS and train Success Ambassadors in Portuguese-speaking countries, officially nine countries in the world. Portuguese is the fourth most spoken language and, according to Agência Brazil in a publication on May 5, 2023, we have reached 260 million people. That’s 3.7% of the entire world population. In other words, we still have a lot of people to lead to prosperity.



It’s a big challenge to reach all these countries, but we already have MBS graduates and Success Ambassadors in Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Mozambique and Portugal. Many of our MBS graduates saw in this course an opportunity to emerge from the shadows and become known in the business world. And, once they have finished, most of them decide to become Success Ambassadors to teach the MBS course and show more people the way to success, not just in business but in any other area of their lives.



Starting with Brazil, where we have been working hard, we already have Success Ambassadors in each of the country’s five regions. Just to give you an idea, 35 participants have graduated from MBS in the last six months and we already have six New Ambassadors. The number may be small at first, but these Ambassadors are working with commitment and dedication to lead Brazilians down the road to self-reliance. Because of the dimension of the country, we seek to regionalize our service and the goal is to have at least one Success Ambassador in each region who will be responsible for training more people in MBS and mentoring new Ambassadors.  (See picture above)




We are moving forward in Angola where Ambassadors are working not only in the capital, Luanda, but in municipalities such as Namibe, where we recently had around 25 participants graduate from the MBS. The ceremony was attended by Ambassadors from surrounding regions, which further reinforced the need to support each other. In the last six months, we have already had 96 MBS graduates in Angola and 10 new Success Ambassadors. The goal is to make further  progress by providing conditions for these Ambassadors to continue fulfilling Interweave Solutions’ mission.




We continue to grow in Cape Verde and will soon have around ten new Ambassadors working in this island country located in an archipelago in the central Atlantic Ocean, consisting of ten volcanic islands. Despite this distinct geography, the MBS has been taught and practiced by graduates. In other words, no matter where you are, the MBS will get to you.




I would like to highlight Mozambique, where we have an active Success Ambassador who has graduated 50 MBS participants in the last six months and will soon be mentoring new Success Ambassadors. And I’ll finish with Portugal, where 23 people graduated from the MBS in February and some are already taking the Success Ambassador training. We also have Success Ambassadors teaching the MBS Course online with participants who speak Portuguese but are currently living in China. This is incredible, isn’t it? Once again we have the evidence that MBS goes where you are.

There is still a lot of work to be done, but with the dedication of the Success Ambassadors, who are the keystone of this process, our mission will be achieved. On this point I am very well informed; there is no doubt about it. And I thank each and every one of them for their efforts to keep the Interweave Solutions flame alive. We will continue to take people from poverty to prosperity through self-reliance groups.

Getting great rankings, traffic, followers, and sales on your website takes a lot of diligent work in a number of areas, but regardless of skill level, anyone can learn the fundamentals and find success with SEO.

Why do I need SEO?
While WordPress sites in general have a great basic structure and code optimized so that your site can be understood by search engines, that doesn’t necessarily mean that your site will be seen as valuable by search engine algorithms. SEO will help to make sure that your site has all the correct elements of what search engines see as valuable (both on-page and off-page), and making it more worthwhile for search engines to rank the site highly.

There are many aspects involved in optimizing your site for search engines, and that can feel overwhelming. However, keep in mind that even doing one SEO task per day will incrementally help your site rank higher, and for more keywords. Good SEO work is a marathon, not a sprint. Since the content you publish is the biggest driver for search engine traffic, designate a page or a post on your site that you would like to optimize for search engines. It doesn’t matter if the page or post is already live on your site, if it’s currently in draft status, or if it still needs to be written; you’ll use this piece of content to practically apply the concepts learned in this course, within your site’s niche.

Most of the people are struggling to get customer, some they are having, but why?

TO ANSWER THIS PER MY POINT OF PERSPECTIVE :

__–Im going to answer this per my experience, me im a certified success ambassador with interweave solutions international, I offer an international certificate called master of business in the streets MBS training, I’m also a certified wellness facilitator with interweave solutions international, I’m also a certified LLC facilitator with Launching Leaders World wide, I earned my diploma in Digital marketing, I’m also an AVON representative.

To Answer the question (who is your first customer /client)?
I will answer this as an AVON entrepreneur.

Now listen carefully, think positive but not negative, the first client for your product or service is you{YOU)}


This may sound like a joke, but I’m challenging you to try this,, if you are in a business, entrepreneurship etc, let’s say shop, to avoid taking the things or groceries on your shop for free try to pay for what you take, if you succeed on this, believe me, you will see the good fruits, it doesn’t matter that the business is yours so that you can take anything you want for free on your shop, if you do so, you will run unsuccessful business, or on another side, in your business like if you sell something like sweets etc, try to buy from yourself, not on credit but pay on point, try this, you will see the results, in your business you will be happy even if people buy your produkts or not, try not to crook yourself by not paying, trustworthy is needed on this.


As I was saying that I will answer this question as an AVON ENTREPRENEUR:
Most of the time do place my Avon order, most of the time people don’t buy my products, but the next time I can manage to place another big or small order of Avon produkts, even if people didn’t buy my produkts, you may think that this is a joke or film, but its reality,

The reason I’m managing to place another order is because, I myself I’m the first client to my products, and I’m not stealing to my self, The thing that is causing more entrepreneurs, businesses, micro businesses etc not to grow is because they are the thieves in their businesses.


The solution here it comes, just try to implement all I have written, you will thank me later,..
