What makes you nervous?
More things makes me nervous, especially after presentation, or if I didn’t give the answer to the given question, as a group!
It’s completely normal to feel nervous at times. Whether it’s before an important presentation, a job interview, or any other significant event, those butterflies in your stomach can be quite persistent. Here are a few strategies to help manage nervousness:
Deep Breathing: Take slow, deep breaths. Inhale deeply through your nose, hold for a few seconds, and then exhale slowly through your mouth. Repeat this a few times to calm your nerves.
Positive Visualization: Imagine yourself succeeding. Visualize a positive outcome, and focus on the feelings of accomplishment and confidence.
Preparation: Be well-prepared. Knowing your material or being ready for a situation can boost your confidence and reduce nervousness.
Physical Activity: Engage in light physical activity, like stretching or going for a short walk. It helps release tension and promotes relaxation.
Mindfulness and Grounding Techniques: Pay attention to the present moment. Feel your feet on the ground, notice your surroundings, and avoid getting lost in anxious thoughts.
Talk to Someone: Share your feelings with a friend, family member, or a trusted colleague. Sometimes expressing your nervousness can alleviate the pressure.
Remember, nervousness is natural, and it often accompanies growth and new experiences. Embrace it as a sign that you’re stepping out of your comfort zone. You’ve got this! 😊🌟
