How has technology changed your job?

It has changed my job for a good because now I can mentor, teach, facilitate online, with all around the world (people)

It hasn’t really changed for my industry or occupation. Property management CO’s and REITs are at the forefront of the new guilded age.
That being said the very notion of adding technology that can’t labeled as some type of value added amenity and be directly passed onto the resident is never or very slowly adopted until it is mandated by some state or federal entity. Until then it’s colossal cash grab. The mantra make as much as you can, as fast you can, while spending as little as you can.
In 3 or 5 years sell as diminishing returns begin and tax write offs are gone.
Technology is always initially a large outlay.
I have lobbied in vain repeatedly and to no avail. making business more efficient, transparent and ultimately more profitable. Everybody’s onboard until they see the pricetag which cuts into their short term gains. Alas I am left with a teacup bailing, trying to save the Titancic.
